Hairstyling Training Program and Courses in Barrie

Hairstylists are beauty professionals who specialize in providing customized hair-care services to clients. Students enrolled in the 37. 5 week Hairstyling Program in Barrie will complete a total of 1500 hours of theoretical and hands-on learning. Students will undergo 40 hours of training per week on the following schedule:

Barrie Hairstyling Program Curriculum

Students pursuing training in the Modern College Hairstyling Program in Barrie will pursue a comprehensive curriculum that includes instruction in:

  • a 2000 hour apprenticeship in a local salon

Hairstylists are responsible for performing a wide range of hair-care services on both women and men. Certified hairstylists have a keen eye for detail, a flair for creativity and exceptional communication skills. Students who have completed the Modern College Hairstyling Program in Barrie will have the skills and knowledge needed to find work in beauty salons and day spas.
